Officers of the Club

  • Chairman – Robert Gregory
    Bob played for Bridgwater Town and Forest Green in Southern League Football in the 80's (top scorer for Bridgwater in 1983).

    He then had spells in the Western League for Frome Town, Clevedon Town & Keynsham Town. He joined Nailsea Town in 1988 and holds the scoring record for the Club with 54 goals in a season! Bob managed Nailsea Town and took the Club from the Somerset League Div 3 to the Premier Division.  Still the 1st team manager and Club Chairman for the newly formed Nailsea & Tickenham FC.

    "Best moment in my playing career - Scoring at the Old Wembley Stadium for JJB Sports versus a Rod Stewart celebrity eleven (and then getting both goals and MOM in the return at Wigan stadium the following week)" He played his last competitive 1st team game at the age of 49 scoring the winner in the last kick of the final game v Backwell United!

  • Vice Chairman / Reserves Team Manager – Jamie Smith
    Jamie formed Tickenham Utd FC in 2007 and led the club to 5 back to back promotions including Cup silverwear, as well as raising the clubs profile off the pitch culminating in Tickenham Utd's ground share at the Hand Stadium. He is an FA qualified football coach and has made hundreds of appearances in local football since beginning his playing days at Nailsea Junior Football club, founded by his Grandfather Len Smith in 1974.

  • Secretary – Jon Parsons
    Jon has lived in Nailsea for 25 years and has seen his three sons grow up enjoying football in the local community. Jon is the newest but probably the most senior (in age) on the committee. Despite past experience at junior level and FA coaching badges Jon has decided his place in the club is as Club Secretary. This is a role he says he is enjoying to learn and is proud to be a part of the newly formed club, supporting the aspirations for the future success of football in Nailsea & Tickenham.

  • Al Parsons – Sponsorship & Fundraising/ Reserves Team Assistant Manager
    Al has played local football since he was 7 years old when his family moved to the area. His adult playing days have seen him play every season for Tickenham United, this was preceeded with many happy days spent with Nailsea United in the Somerset League and a brief spell with Nailsea Town. Al lifted the challenge cup for Tickenham United in 2012 and has recently qualified as an FA Coach. Al is looking forward to the upcoming challenge and his new roles within the club. 

  • Dan Cook 
    Dan Cook joined Nailsea Town from arch rivals Nailsea United in 2007 to play for the reserve team. During this spell he helped the reserves secure the hospital cup and promtion to Weston and District Division One, winning the Golden Boot and Players Player Award in the process. Now an established first team player, Dan helped the club gain promotion to Somerset Premier in 2011 and helped to retain their premiership status in the coming seasons. Dan won Managers Player of the year in 2015. In 2013 Dan adopted the role of Club Treasurer and continues in the post, constantly working hard and is excited for the coming season.
